The Amie Holt Care Center received some great news! As of September 10, vaccinated long-term care residents do not need to quarantine if a staff member tests positive for COVID-19.
To ensure the health of our residents, Amie Holt Care Center will take a conservative approach to the updated guidance from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. If there is a staff member who tests positive, we will evaluate the likelihood that a resident may have been exposed and determine our next steps. Vaccinated residents will not be quarantined, but visitation will be paused until the first round of testing is complete for those who may have been exposed.
We appreciate our residents’ and their families’ patience and understanding over the past year and a half. We know it has been a very trying year for so many. This is a positive step forward for our residents and their families!
