Feeling Thankful at JCHC

"The level of medical care I’ve received is great, but the level of compassion and understanding is phenomenal and beyond what I even expect ."
The Emergency Room, never a place you want to find yourself in on any given evening, but being pregnant with triplets and at high risk I’ve found myself here frequently in the last month. Each time I’ve been so fortunate to only need simple things, maybe a bag of fluids to rehydrate, or a prescription. But each time what has blown me away is the care, consideration, and time each doctor and nurse I’ve seen (which at this point is all of our hospital OBs) has put into making me feel at ease. They’ve taken the time to not only treat my symptoms but to sit a little longer. To have a conversation and offer whatever reassurance they can. To show me each baby and assure me there still ok. The level of medical care I’ve received is great, but the level of compassion and understanding is phenomenal and beyond what I even expect going in. I get nervous that they’ll maybe be frustrated to see my face in the ER yet again, but instead every-time I’ve been met with understanding, compassion, and reassurance. I am so thankful for this facility and the amazing doctors and nurses who work here.
