Jennifer Burden joined the Johnson County Healthcare Center this month as the new director of marketing.
Jennifer grew up in Buffalo and graduated from Buffalo High School before attending college in Grand Junction, Colorado. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communication with emphasis in news/editorial, public relations and print media/advertising.Her first job out of college was a marketing and administration coordinator for a company in Jackson, Wyoming, that created an online health care reference database. She went on to work for the Colorado Division of Wildlife, and then served as the editor of the Buffalo Bulletin before starting her own newspaper consulting business.

Jennifer said her commitment to the community and Johnson County Healthcare Center’s service area runs deep, and she is excited about this new opportunity.

“It takes the entire team to make the operation work, and I believe relationships and partnerships are a big part of success in every endeavor,” Jennifer said. “Johnson County Healthcare Center is definitely a team I am excited to be a part of, and I look forward to working with the community.”

Jennifer is currently raising her young family in Buffalo. In her free time, she enjoys backpacking, reading, renovating her home and going on bike rides with her children.
