About

Dr. Ruby’s Style is potent medicine, indeed.

Communication and compassion have played leading roles in healing for millennia, only recently replaced by modern science.

Changes in surgery over time demand that surgeons keep up with the latest trends in the field. Doctors need a steady hand and eye to perform most procedures today. They have to continually update skills and knowledge. With all of these things, it can be easy to overlook the very fundamentals of medicine.

The heart of a healthy medical practice is the art of caring.

Truly one of a kind, Dr. Ruby is “too smart to toot his own horn” according to the surgical nurses, but “behind closed doors, he is terrific – compassionate, so careful and thorough.”

Dr. Ruby is the practicing General Surgeon at JCHC, and is well loved and respected among the staff members. The nurses in the surgery department speak quickly and easily about his abilities and his patient centered care.

Dr. Blaine Ruby graduated from Buffalo High School in 1991. He knew he wanted to come back and live in the community because of the family and friends that he and his wife, Adri have here. Dr Ruby attended medical school at the University of Washington. He then completed a 5 year residency in Wisconsin. After graduating in the top of his medical class, he gathered honors in every stage of his training. People were impressed with his proficiency and outstanding abilities at every turn.
