About

Dr. Jennifer  Rice was raised on small farms and ranches in rural Wyoming.  She graduated from high school in Wright, Wyoming, before attending the University of Wyoming to attain her Bachelors of Science in Molecular Biology.  She attended medical school at the University of Colorado in Denver and stayed in rural Wray, Colorado for residency.  She has been practicing Family Medicine since 2009.

Dr. Rice enjoys taking care of families at JCHC.  She especially loves obstetric care and provides the full spectrum of maternity and newborn care.  Dr. Rice chose family medicine because of the opportunity to deliver babies and then continue to take care of them as they grow.

"I love taking care of the whole family!"

She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.  Her passion is rodeo and she continues to compete.  She has served on the Johnson County Cowgirls Board from 2016 - present.  She is active in her church and also loves baking, fishing, hunting and piano.
