About

Dr. Carlson grew up in a small, rural area of northern Minnesota. As he progressed through my medical training, he knew I wanted to find a job as a rural physician. During his residency training in family medicine, he had the opportunity to spend a month at JCHC, where he became familiar with the providers, support staff, and patients. During his residency he fell in love with the broad range of medical care the doctors provided, sometimes bouncing between the clinic, hospital, and ER, all on the same day.

"In addition to providing the opportunity to work as a rural physician, I also think Buffalo, WY, will be a great place to live, and I can’t wait to get out and explore the Bighorn mountains and surrounding areas!"
