All outpatient lab draws are now completed at the Family Medical Center.
This allows for a more streamlined experience, coordinated care with your provider, and convenient access in one location.

Routine lab work is an important part of preventive care. Johnson County Healthcare Center offers laboratory wellness screenings every other Thursday to provide convenient access to commonly requested lab tests in the community.
These screenings are intended for individuals seeking general health information, including measurements such as cholesterol and other routine laboratory markers. Results are provided for personal awareness and can be shared with a primary care provider as part of ongoing care.

The Wellness Panel includes a chemistry panel, lipid panel, and TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone). The chemistry panel consists of tests that provide your doctor with information about the current status of your kidneys, liver, electrolyte and acid-base balance, blood sugar, and blood proteins.
Payment will be required at the time of the wellness screening tests. We accept Cash, Checks, Credit/Debit Cards, and Health Savings Account cards for payment.
We gladly accept lab orders from out-of-town or out-of-facility providers.
If your healthcare provider is not part of Johnson County Healthcare Center, please bring your written lab order with you at the time of your visit. Our team will take care of the rest.
