Dr. Carlson is a Family and Sports Medicine physician dedicated to providing full-spectrum care for patients of all ages. Originally from rural northern Minnesota, he chose Buffalo after completing part of his residency at JCHC and experiencing the variety of care and community connection that rural medicine offers. He provides primary and preventative care, treats acute injuries, manages chronic conditions, and offers specialized Sports Medicine services—including diagnostic ultrasound, ultrasound-guided joint injections, fracture care, and athletic event coverage. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing and exploring the mountains with his wife and two dogs.
