About Dr. Bergeron is an Emergency Medicine physician and Hospitalist at Johnson County Healthcare Center. When he’s not caring for patients in the Emergency Department, he provides inpatient care for those admitted to the hospital.
He completed his residency training in Casper, Wyoming, where he served as Chief Resident and was recognized as Resident of the Year. Before attending medical school, Dr. Bergeron spent 20 years as a ski patroller and river guide, experiences that deepened his passion for medicine and emergency response. He also teaches Wilderness First Responder, Swiftwater Rescue, and Avalanche Rescue courses, and spent eight years as a professional avalanche dog handler.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Bergeron enjoys hiking, skiing, fishing, kayaking, shooting sports, and spending time outdoors with his wife and two children. He and his family are excited to call Buffalo home and feel grateful to raise their young family in this community.
